Samode Haveli

The romance of this 175-year-old Haveli continues through a passage decorated with traditional memorabilia and leads you to a delightful central courtyard, overlooked by balconies from where women would watch the wedding procession and shower rose petals. Samode Haveli was built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur by Rawal Sheo Singhji as the manor house for the royal family. It reflected the style and elegance of the family and the art and architecture of the times and culture, all of which have been impressively restored today. Rooms are spacious & simply furnished. The exquisite former dining hall that serves as a restaurant is bedecked with colourful hand-painted murals.
