About Mararikulam

Mararikulam is a beach village in the district of Alappuzha. Mararikulam is a beautiful beach village governed by two panchayats, namely Mararikulam South and Mararikulam North. Mararikulam is approximately 90 km from Cochin International Airport. It is the fertile land of communism and has a very beautiful beach which is known by the name Marari Beach or Mararikulam beach. The pristine shoreline, the thatched huts, the stunning sunset and the small village roads that seem to lead to nowhere make Marari a post card pretty destination. Although predominantly a fishing village, Mararikulam is also famous for its coir-making.
